It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

We love the week before Winter Break! Many of our CoSA graduates come back to the school to visit and re-connect with teachers and friends. Sydney Streightiff, Instrumental Music class of 2015, is home for the holidays from UC Irvine, where she is studying music and playing the oboe. She is Second in the UC Irvine Symphony Orchestra (as a freshman!), plays First in the Wind Ensemble and is in a Chamber group. She was asked to be the piano accompanist for UC Irvine's production of Sweeny Todd, which will be performed in the spring.

"I joined the music fraternity Mu Phi Epsilon, which works with the music department to do community service. We play at a retirement home every Tuesday and Thursday, and we are helping run the auditions for incoming freshmen," says Sydney. "I love UC Irvine. My roommate is a vocal performance major from Canyon Crest High School. We are having so much fun!"

Crystal Kwast, Tech Theatre class of 2014, also stopped by. She is currently living about 30 minutes south of Reno, NV (where she says it is VERY cold!), attending Western Nevada College to study Criminal Justice, and raising horses.

Will White, also Tech Theatre class of 2014, visited, however, he is a more familiar face here, having helped out many times with theatre rentals and CoSA shows since his graduation.
