Dakota Ringer in Top 10 Finalists!Posted by: nancym 2 years ago
Recently we were delighted to hear from CoSA Musical Theatre alum Dakota Ringer, class of 2012. Dakota will be graduating from San Diego State University in May with a B.A. in Theatre-Performance.
"I have been keeping very busy on campus throughout my 4 years here, having been involved in 5 productions, multiple film projects, and working as a cook for the SDSU catering service. On top of that, I had the opportunity to study abroad in England at The University of Kent for an entire semester where I played football and starred in a production of "Spring Awakening," says Dakota. He is currently involved in his final production here at SDSU, The Drowsy Chaperone, which is open the first two weeks of March.
Dakota was recently asked to join the top ten finalists in a San Diego-wide singing competition called "Campus Superstar," in which hundreds of students from all the local colleges and universities compete for a $5000 Grand Prize.
Dakota's plans for after his graduates: "I will be staying in San Diego for awhile to hopefully continue performing within the San Diego community on the stage and with my band!"
Congratulations, Dakota and good luck with the Campus Superstar competition!Share on Twitter Share on Facebook
