Megan Friddle earns Ph.D.

   Megan Friddle, CoSA alumna class of 1998 and daughter of former CoSA Administrative Assistant Anne Friddle, was awarded a Ph.D. last week in Atlanta, Georgia.  After graduating from CHS and the Musical Theatre conservatory in CoSA's second graduating class, Megan attended Sarah Lawrence College in New York. From there she went to Penn State University to obtain a MFA in English-Creative Writing. She has spent the past six years working on her Ph.D. in American Studies at the Graduate Institute of Liberal Arts at Emory University.

    Megan is currently working as a teacher, writer and researcher and also is the Assistant Director of the National Scholarships and Fellowships Programs in Emory University's Office for Undergraduate Education where she coordinates the selection process for internal and external merit awards.  You can find out more about Megan at her website.
