Still Time to Bid!Posted by: nancym 4 years ago
If you missed the CoSA Foundation Dinner + Benefit on Saturday night, you missed a fun evening! Hosted at the lovely Coronado Island Marriott Resort, ladies and gents attired in garb evoking the Roaring 20's, bid on silent auction items whilst sipping champagne and enjoying CoSA students singing, dancing and performing in support of the evening. Many of Coronado's top arts supporters were in attendance, as well as CUSD School Board members Bruce Shepherd and Dawn Ovrom, CUSD Superintendent Dr. Jeffrey Felix, CUSD Director of Curriculum and Instruction Claudia Gallant, CUSD Director of Technology Ramona Loiselle, and CHS Principal Jenny Moore. Thank you to all who came to make this such a successful evening.
During dinner, guests were treated to additional song and dance routines and two outstanding performances by the Classical & Contemporary Dance students. Then the live auction bidding got underway. CoSA Foundation always comes up with unique and truly valuable items, so the bidding gets lively! This year's prizes included a getaway to San Miguel de Allende, a week in an 800 year old (but fortunately renovated!) Tuscan villa, a chance to craft your own beer, the always-popular seafood feast on the beach (including a tequila tasting this year!) and the much-coveted evening of professional catering complemented by CoSA entertainment in your home for 20 of your guests.
Bummed that you weren't there? We are, too. But there's still a chance to bid on some fabulous auction items, and support Coronado School of the Arts in the process. Click here to see what awaits you! To bid using your mobile phone, click here.
And next year, join us at the CoSA Foundation Benefit + Dinner, one of the highlight events of the year for supporters of the arts in education!Share on Twitter Share on Facebook
