STUDENTS NOMINATED FOR 2018 BROADWAY SAN DIEGO AWARDS!

News Bulletin from Rick Hernandez of The Broadway San Diego Awards:

I would like to thank you and the students of Coronado School of the Arts for your participation in the 2018 Broadway San Diego Awards! We had 22 schools and 28 shows participate in the competition this year. This was our largest pool of participant schools/shows to date, and the competition was fierce.

It is my honor to inform you that you have received the following Nominations.

Coronado School of the Arts Nominations:

Spencer Lynn has received a Nomination for Best Actor for his portrayal of Chairman in the Coronado School of the Arts production of “The Mystery of Edwin Drood.”

Felicity Bryant has received a Nomination for Best Actress for her portrayal of Princess Puffer in the Coronado School of the Arts production of “The Mystery of Edwin Drood.”

As you may know we will begin the BSD Awards on-stage competition with our Top 20 Contestants (10 male and 10 female). By the end of the evening, our panel of VIP/Celebrity Judges will choose our two champions (1 male and 1 female), who will represent San Diego County at the Jimmy Awards in New York in June (also known as the National High School Musical Theatre Awards or NHSMTA).

CONGRATULATIONS, SPENCER AND FELICITY!
